ARTIST DEMONSTRATIONS

We host artist demonstrations to give artist an opportunity to show their skills and introduce them to our members and community. These demos are always entertaining, informative, and well-attended. They are free for RAA members and $10.00 for non-members.

Demonstration by Galina Hitching

Watch Galina draw and paint beautiful flowers. She draws flowers in pencil on watercolor paper, uses a water-proof pen to draw over the lines, and then paints the flowers with watercolor paint. She will offer classes on these skills in August 2025 at the Ridge Art Classroom. These skills can also be applied to landscapes, still-life, and portraits.

Demonstration by Alexa Berrong

Alexa is a passionate artist specializing in oil painting. With decades of experience, Alexa brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to her classes. Her work has been featured in numerous galleries, and she is known for her spiritual, lifelike portraits. She will offer a class in August entitled, Beginner Oil Painting Portraitures.
