A Four-Session Watercolor Class with Ron Malone

Discover one of watercolor's most exciting and expressive techniques—negative painting.

Instead of painting the subject itself, you'll learn to paint the shapes around your subject, allowing it to emerge naturally from the surrounding washes. This unique approach creates beautiful depth, strong composition, and luminous layers that are difficult to achieve with traditional painting methods. It's a technique that can transform ordinary paintings into striking works of art.

During this four-week class, you'll complete two beautiful watercolor paintings (time permitting) while learning how to:

• Build depth through layered transparent washes
• Create strong shapes and interesting compositions
• Paint leaves, flowers, and other natural subjects using negative spaces
• Preserve light while adding rich color and dimension

Professional 100% cotton watercolor paper is included.
