    Volunteer with the LRG

With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering can be enormous. Volunteering offers vital encouragement to emerging artist and current artist, helping them grow, learn, and enrich our community. Beyond that, the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer! Any one of our volunteer opportunities might help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career.

Giving to others in this way can also help protect your mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, combat depression, keep you mentally stimulated, and provide a sense of purpose. While it’s true that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you’ll experience, volunteering doesn’t have to involve a long-term commitment or take a huge amount of time. Giving in even simple ways can greatly help others and at the same time improve your health and happiness.

    Six benefits of volunteering:

    1. Feel healthier and happier!
    2. Seeing first-hand how your efforts impact people’s lives positively can give you a sense of purpose.
    3. Connects you to others.
    4. Is good for your mind and body.
    5. Can advance your career.
    6. Brings fun and fulfillment to your life.
